Plain English Summary: GigEdge is a standalone calculator for gig drivers. We dont touch your DoorDash or Uber Eats app. We dont guarantee earnings. You can cancel any time. Disputes go to arbitration, not court.
1. Independence & Non-Affiliation
GigEdge is an independent productivity tool created for individual gig workers. It is
NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to DoorDash, Inc., Uber Eats, Grubhub, Instacart, Lyft, Uber Technologies, or any other delivery or gig platform. All third-party platform names referenced in this app are trademarks of their respective owners and are used solely for descriptive identification purposes under the doctrine of nominative fair use. GigEdge makes no claim of ownership over any third-party trademark.
2. Nature of the Service
GigEdge provides estimated earnings calculations, offer analysis, zone heat data, routing estimates, and productivity tools to help independent contractors make faster decisions. GigEdge does
NOT: access, connect to, monitor, or scrape any gig platform's systems or APIs; read, store, or transmit your gig platform login credentials or account data; interfere with, overlay, modify, or automate any gig platform's mobile application; guarantee any earnings outcome; or constitute financial, legal, investment, or tax advice.
3. No Earnings Guarantee
All $/hr estimates, zone ratings, tip predictions, delivery time estimates, and earnings projections are
estimates only, generated from data you and other users voluntarily submit. Actual earnings depend entirely on your market, hours worked, platform conditions, order volume, and customer behavior. Results will vary. Past performance in any zone does not guarantee future earnings. GigEdge makes no warranty of any kind — express or implied — regarding earning potential.
4. Eligibility & Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use GigEdge. By submitting your email address, you confirm you are 18 or older. GigEdge does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn a user is under 18, their account will be terminated immediately.
5. Subscription, Payments & Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions are billed through Stripe, Inc. GigEdge never sees or stores your payment card information.
AUTOMATIC RENEWAL DISCLOSURE (California ARL §17601 et seq.): Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period (weekly, monthly, or annually, as selected) at the then-current rate unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time by visiting your account settings or emailing support@gigedge.app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you retain access until then. No prorated refunds are provided for partial periods, except where required by law.
6. Refund Policy
If you are charged and wish to request a refund, contact support@gigedge.app within
48 hours of the charge with the subject line "Refund Request." We will review and respond within 2 business days. Refunds are issued at our discretion but are generally honored for first-time billing disputes. After the 48-hour window, no refunds are provided except where required by applicable law (including California law).
7. Platform Terms of Service Compliance
GigEdge is a standalone browser-based tool. It does not access, modify, or interact with any gig platform's app, APIs, or systems. You remain solely responsible for complying with your gig platform's independent contractor agreement and terms of service. Using third-party analytics tools alongside any gig platform is your personal responsibility. GigEdge expressly disclaims any liability arising from your use of any gig platform.
8. Independent Contractor Status
GigEdge is designed for use by independent contractors. Nothing in this agreement, and nothing about GigEdge's operation, establishes, implies, modifies, or affects your employment classification or independent contractor relationship with any gig platform.
9. Limitation of Liability
GigEdge is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GigEdge and its owner(s), operator(s), affiliates, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of earnings, loss of data, or loss of goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the service — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
10. Dispute Resolution — Binding Arbitration
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
You and GigEdge agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the service shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. The arbitration shall take place in Los Angeles County, California, or via video conference. Each party shall bear their own costs.
Class Action Waiver: You and GigEdge agree that each may bring claims against the other only in your or its individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative action. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any class proceeding.
Exception: Either party may seek emergency injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm pending arbitration.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any matter not subject to arbitration under Section 10 shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers via email to the address on file. Continued use of GigEdge after changes constitutes acceptance. You can always view the current Terms within the app.

1. Who We Are
GigEdge is operated by Kenneth Hunter, an independent developer based in Torrance, California, USA. Contact: support@gigedge.app
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide:
•
Email address — collected when you start your free trial or subscribe. Used solely to manage your account access and send you billing-related communications.
Information collected automatically:
•
Account events — when you sign up, log in, subscribe, or use a promo code. Stored in our cloud database (Supabase) to manage your account.
•
Session heartbeat — an anonymous timestamp indicating you have the app open. Used to show "active users" in our admin panel. Contains no earnings data.
•
Zone reports — if you voluntarily submit zone data, we store an anonymous earnings rate, your approximate city, hour of day, and weather. No identifying information is linked to zone reports.
Information we do NOT collect:
• Your offer amounts, miles driven, minutes worked, shift history, or earnings data — this stays on your device only, in your browser's local storage.
• Your payment card information — handled entirely by Stripe, Inc.
• Your location — GPS data is used in real time for routing and zone display but is never stored or transmitted.
• Any data from DoorDash, Uber Eats, or any other platform.
3. How We Store Your Data
Your email address and account events are stored in a cloud database operated by Supabase, Inc. (supabase.com), hosted on AWS infrastructure in the United States. Stripe, Inc. stores your payment method and billing history. All other app data (offers, earnings, settings) is stored only in your browser's localStorage and IndexedDB on your device — it never leaves your phone or computer.
4. How We Use Your Data
We use your email address to: authenticate your trial or subscription; send billing receipts and renewal notices (via Stripe); and respond to support requests. We use anonymous usage events to: count active subscribers for our internal admin; understand how the app is being used; and improve features. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.
5. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
GigEdge does not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with any third party for their marketing or commercial purposes. This applies to all users, including California residents exercising rights under the CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act, Cal. Civ. Code §1798.100 et seq.) and Virginia residents under VCDPA.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
•
Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
•
Deletion: Request that we delete your account and all associated personal data from our systems.
•
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
•
Portability: Request your data in a portable format.
•
Opt-Out: Opt out of any future data collection beyond what is necessary to provide the service.
To exercise any right: Email support@gigedge.app with subject line
"Data Request — [Your Right]" (e.g., "Data Request — Delete My Account"). We will respond within 30 days. No fee is charged to exercise these rights.
7. Data Deletion
To delete your account and all personal data: email support@gigedge.app with subject "Delete My Data." Include the email address associated with your account. We will permanently delete your email, account events, and heartbeat records from Supabase within 30 days and confirm deletion by email. Your local browser data (earnings history, settings) can be cleared at any time in your device's browser settings.
8. Data Retention
We retain your email and account records for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and request deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days. Anonymous zone reports (which contain no personal information) may be retained indefinitely to improve zone accuracy for all drivers.
9. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
GigEdge is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users must be 18 or older to use the service. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact support@gigedge.app immediately.
10. Cookies & Local Storage
GigEdge uses your browser's localStorage and IndexedDB to store app settings and earnings data locally on your device. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics scripts. The only third-party service that may set cookies is Stripe, Inc., which operates under its own privacy policy for payment processing purposes.
11. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, opt out of sale (we do not sell data), and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To submit a California privacy request, email support@gigedge.app with subject "CCPA Request."
12. GDPR — European Users
If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, your personal data is processed under the legal basis of contract performance (to provide your subscription) and legitimate interest (to improve the service). You have rights under GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, and portability. To exercise GDPR rights, email support@gigedge.app with subject "GDPR Request."
13. Security
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), Supabase Row Level Security (RLS) policies, and Stripe's PCI-DSS compliant payment infrastructure. No system is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you by email within 72 hours of discovery.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to active subscribers. Continued use of GigEdge after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
